With linear, tactile, and clicky options available (such as Optical Red, Yellow, Black, Brown, and Blue), Gateron Optical Switches are a versatile choice for any optical hot-swap keyboard build.

  • Red (Linear): 45g actuation force – smooth and quiet

  • Yellow (Linear): 50g actuation force – firmer, smooth travel

  • Black (Linear): 60g actuation force – heavy and smooth

  • Brown (Tactile): 55g actuation force – subtle tactile bump

  • Blue (Clicky): 55g actuation force – tactile with audible click
